Hairstyles for teenage girls, United States, 1910s. Having forgotten from which book it was, I can only guess it was from an old book of etiquette I once noticed over the internet.
Today I tried 2 new (to me) products while taking a shower. The first one was a mud mask for you hair. The results aren’t in on this one yet as my hair is still wet. I can tell you that it has a very weird odor due to the ingredients one of which is volcanic mud. I am however badly in need of a hair cut so if it even halfway smooths out the ends I will be happy!
The other product I used is a sugar scrub I bought from my sister. It smells WONDERFUL! I used it on my legs only, and as soon as I rinsed it off I could feel a huge difference in the smoothness of my legs! I will definitely be buying more of this in the future!
Update: The hair mud mask didn’t really seem to make that much of a difference. It made my hair a tiny bit softer, but that’s all. Maybe if I’d had more than just a sample size I could have noticed a bigger change.
Today is day 12 of not smoking. I quit on April 17 2011. I think I am doing pretty good considering. I used to smoke to fill the boredom. I still get bored and have a thought of “go smoke” but then I quickly shut that thought down and find something else to do. After dinner is the worst for me because I would smoke the most between dinner and bed time. I have to constantly remind myself that I am NOT a smoker anymore. I don’t do that. I don’t need that.
It helps a lot that the majority of the people in my life are non-smokers. A few of them are former smokers so they know how hard it can be to quit. Everyone has been super supportive and I am looking forward to the day that I can go a whole day or more without thinking about a cigarette even once!
